Book canon and adaptation canon
The Dungeon Crawler Carl novels are the primary source for novel continuity. The WEBTOON, Audio Immersion Tunnel, graphic novels, and television series may visualize, condense, expand, reorder, or reframe that material. A detail can be official without belonging to every version.
Source labels used on this wiki
- Novel canon: a character, event, rule, or description established in the numbered books.
- Audio adaptation: presentation or added material specific to the Audio Immersion Tunnel or another dramatized production.
- WEBTOON canon: visual design, pacing, dialogue, or scene choices made for the official WEBTOON.
- Graphic-novel canon: details established in an original official graphic story such as Crocodile.
- Television canon: screen-specific choices once episodes are publicly available; development announcements are production news, not story canon.
Resolving differences
When two versions differ, the relevant page names the source instead of forcing one blended answer. A WEBTOON costume can illustrate the WEBTOON character while the novel page describes only what the text establishes. A scene added to cinematic audio can be discussed as adaptation material without being inserted into the novel timeline.
