Overview

This Inevitable Ruin is the seventh main Dungeon Crawler Carl book and the series' major Faction Wars volume. It moves the story from survival inside floor scenarios into open, multi-party conflict where crawlers, factions, sponsors, divine actors, corporations, and the unstable AI all press against the same system. Canonical role

The title captures the book's mood. By this stage, the crawl is no longer pretending to be a contained game. Earlier decisions have accumulated.
