Overview
The Book Landing Page Directory is the navigation spine for the series portion of the archive. Its job is not to summarize every chapter in detail. Its job is to help readers choose the correct book page, understand spoiler scope, and move from book-level summaries into chapter pages, character arcs, floor pages, item registers, and continuity guides. Because the site has many chapter and concept pages, this directory needs enough explanatory text to prevent it from feeling like a thin table.
Canonical role
The recommended structure is a chronological list from Book 1 through Book 8. Each book entry includes the title, spoiler level, primary floor or scenario, major party changes, core antagonistic pressure, and links to the most important supporting pages. The directory should not hide later titles, but it should mark full-series spoilers clearly. A new reader can use the top section to stay spoiler-light, while a returning reader can use the full index to jump straight to a book.
Series development
Book 1, Dungeon Crawler Carl, introduces Earth’s collapse, the First and Second Floors, Carl and Donut, Mordecai, safe rooms, early bosses, basic achievements, and the first media storyline. It links to Earth, First Floor locations, Second Floor routes, Team Meadow Lark, Odette, Zev, Borant, and the Carl and Donut relationship page.
Character and system connections
Book 2, Carl’s Doomsday Scenario, moves the party to the Third Floor and the Over City. It adds race and class selection, Katia Grim, the Grimaldi circus storyline, the doomsday scenario, Desperado Club material, and stronger inter-crawler politics. It links to Over City, Katia, Signet, Remex-related pages, and Third Floor locations.
Continuity importance
Book 3, The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook, centers the Iron Tangle, train routes, cookbook inheritance, Hekla and the Daughters, Prepotente, and large-scale crawler coordination. It links to Iron Tangle, train lines, the Cookbook, Katia’s arc, Hekla, Miriam Dom, and the growing allied crawler network.
Navigation and related pages
Book 4, The Gate of the Feral Gods, pushes the series into divine and factional escalation. It involves the Fifth Floor, bubble worlds, gate mechanics, gods, faction interference, and the consequences of earlier Signet and celestial threads. The directory connects it to divine power pages, Fifth Floor locations, hunters, and faction-related mechanics.

Continuity Notes
A book directory matters because the series is organized by novels, floors, arcs, and character threads at the same time. Readers may look for a book title, a floor number, a chapter event, a character's development, or a timeline connection, and those paths do not always line up neatly. The directory gives the archive a stable table of contents for that overlap. It keeps Book 1 survival, Book 2 urban expansion, Book 3 inheritance and memory, Book 4 divine pressure, Book 5 masquerade politics, and the later faction-scale conflicts connected to one browsing thread.
